I have returned to every platform I'm on! Thank you for your patience!
I joined the Pibby fandom a couple months after its original trailer had released. I originally joined the subreddit r/Pibby so I could keep tabs on any and all updates about Learning With Pibby: Apocalypse. While there, I began to establish myself as a member of the community, posting my fanart of Pibby there and, eventually, the start of Pibby: Singularity (at the time known as Project Singularity).
Sometime after I had posted the first two or three pages of the comic, I was approached by a user by the name of u/WeirdBoi-85 (display name KrazyGuy-85), who we'll call WeirdBoi. He explained that he liked what I had made and he wanted to invite me to join his own subreddit, r/Greenlight_Pibby. I happily accepted because I wanted more people to see what I had created. I was a little skeptical because he didn't like the mods of r/Pibby, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt anyway. I joined and started reuploading all my comic pages to r/Greenlight_Pibby, and they were doing quite well among the new community, until around Halloween 2022. While browsing r/Greenlight_Pibby, I found a new drawing from WeirdBoi.
The image depicted WeirdBoi's villain OC, WeirdBoi.EXE, killing the protagonists of Pibby: Singularity (again, known as Project Singularity at the time) Cole Maverick, Pibby and Bun-Bun. Kinda taken aback by this, I joked in the comments that Cole may need assistance from Void, another of my OCs known to be extremely powerful, and we got into a semi-friendly argument over who is superior: Cole Maverick or WeirdBoi.EXE. But, I eventually left it as he wasn't allowing me to have a character stronger than his... which admittedly should have been a red flag.
After that, I just moved on and didn't think much else about it. But I couldn't ever have prepared myself for what was about to begin.
On November 13, 2022, while scrolling through r/Greenlight_Pibby on Reddit, I came across a piece of artwork by WeirdBoi and it, quite frankly, gave me all the wrong vibes.
The image depicted two Pibby-based characters, Cursed Pibby and Victoria, trying to be "cute" while wearing suggestive outfits and making inappropriate faces. The image also shows that Victoria is apparently the daughter of Cursed Pibby, implying that that version of the original kindergarten-aged character was aged up to have a child.
I feel that it's one thing to have an adult version of Pibby (i.e. a Pibby who's simply been aged up to, say, 19 years old), and another thing entirely for her to be portrayed in the suggestive manner that she was in that artwork. As admittedly well-drawn as the artwork was, the actual content of it made me reconsider being in that subreddit, especially since WeirdBoi was the owner and creator of it. I thought I might be able to just let it slide, but then I saw that Twitter user @TerraTerraCotta (who we'll call Terra) had called it out on Twitter earlier that day. When I asked her about it, she gave me some information about the artist, noting that WeirdBoi was an avid proshipper - someone who ships anyone and anything - and had also shipped himself with Pibby.
That was the final nail in the coffin for me. Back then, and even still to this day, I highly respect Terra for many, many reasons, and so I had no reason to doubt that she was telling the truth, so I decided to take action immediately. As great as r/Greenlight_Pibby and the people who were in it were, I didn't feel comfortable being part of it anymore, so on November 14, 2022, I left the subreddit indefinitely. That meant that my future posts would no longer be posted on there, including Pibby: Singularity and my other Pibby-related content. I made a post on the subreddit regarding my leaving on the same day, with the intention of giving a heads up on both why I was leaving and where people could find my comic and other projects if they wanted to keep up.
After I posted that, I proceeded to take my leave, and I thought that was the end of that. But I was wrong. Just a few minutes later, I got a notification that WeirdBoi himself had commented on my post.
WeirdBoi, for some reason, began to attack me from out of nowhere, accusing me of hating him and what he made. I just calmly reiterated what I said in my post multiple times - that I didn't hate him and that it was the one post that made me uncomfortable. But after a while, I saw that the conversation wasn't going to go anywhere, so I just gave him some friendly advice before saying goodbye, not once insulting him or acting otherwise aggressive. He attacked me yet again, but I ignored him this time. After some advice from of my friends on the Pibby Fanbase server on Discord (including Terra), I blocked him on both Twitter and Reddit before taking down every trace of my posts from his community except for my farewell post. I was not going to have anything about The Blackout Reality or Pibby: Singularity be near that crap.
I shared a screenshot on Twitter of my final message to WeirdBoi and his final reply to me. Then on November 15, 2022, only the morning after this all happened, I made public my then-final act of defiance against WeirdBoi. The artwork, titled ENOUGH, was a direct response to the artwork he made of WeirdBoi.EXE killing Pibby: Singularity's characters.
After that whole debacle, I gained quite the reputation in the Pibby fandom. Everyone began labelling WeirdBoi a pedophile for shipping himself with Pibby, while I just continued on with my own life and projects. I uploaded four new videos to my YouTube channel in the meantime, with one of them being a speedpaint video of how I drew Pibby vs Errored Zeus. Things had been going absolutely amazingly!
Then, on December 26, 2022, I saw that Terra wanted to do a fun game of Gartic Phone with everyone, and so I gladly joined in. We were having a ton of fun, and I was even getting ready to record the next round for a video. But then disaster struck.
My stomach dropped, because I was supposed to be done with WeirdBoi, and here he was commenting on my speedpaint. I grabbed a screenshot and proceeded to delete the comment. I wasn't sure if he genuinely liked the video or if he was being passive aggressive about it, but I wasn't taking any chances.
I shared the screenshot with the VC (who were at the time waiting for people to join) and told them what was going on. They advised me to just ignore him and let it go, so that's exactly what I did. Soon after, the round began, and I quickly forgot about the comment.
It was now January 13, 2023. I was at work and almost at my second-to-last break before my 12-hour shift ended when I felt my phone vibrate with a notification. I finished the job I was doing before taking a few moments to turn it on and see what was going on. The notification in question was from DeviantArt, saying that someone had commented on ENOUGH: user k4356719. I didn't recognize the username, so I opened it up to see what they had written. As soon as I saw what it said, however, I knew it was WeirdBoi again. I decided to look at his profile to confirm if it really was him, and that's when I saw it.
The account was made that very day with the sole purpose of negatively commenting on my post. I just deleted the comment and began discussing with the Discord server during my break.
After that, I got back to my shift, feeling better from venting my frustrations. After I got off of work for the day, I made a post on Twitter to inform everyone of the fact that WeirdBoi had made the account just to comment on my art. After a little discussion on it, the server and I started having a bit of fun again. As we were all joking around with each other, Terra had decided to draw a fun image as part of one of our inside jokes.
It depicted Terra Lavee (Terra's OC), seeing Cole and XJ9 from My Life As a Teenage Robot beating up an unidentified character before Lavee herself joins in. It was made solely to poke fun at one of our other friends, who absolutely loved it. Terra then went onto her RP Twitter account @TerraLavee and posted it.
But sometime between then and the next evening, WeirdBoi commented on the post, assuming out of nowhere that the character being beat up was his OC simply because of the boots' design, and even called Terra a sexist while apologizing for her "not understanding his art". Terra almost immediately Tweeted about it on the evening of January 14, 2023, providing screenshots as well.
I Retweeted Terra's post, telling WeirdBoi that I wouldn't back down and inviting him to keep throwing his punches. And then came the next attack, this time directed straight to me, only a few minutes later.
On top of accusing me for being a sexist, saying that that's why I disliked his artwork (like drawing a child-coded character in a suggestive outfit wasn't reason enough), he also accused me of ruining his life over that. He also claimed that he was "trying to knock some sense into me" on Reddit two months prior which, considering he was largely accusing me of the same thing back then, I knew wasn't the case. He also insulted Terra, wished physical harm on me, and (as the cherry on top) somehow came to the conclusion that Cole Maverick was a self-insert and that I had the same name (which was admittedly more funny than anything). So, I screenshotted the essay of a comment and shared it with the people in the server. To say they were pissed would be an understatement.
Terra then made an update reply to share my screenshot of the comment and warn everyone that he was now threatening violence. She then made a meme about WeirdBoi, which I then Retweeted.
Later that night, Terra found a drawing of WeirdBoi's that depicted his OC Shadow Hoodie killing the Grunts from Madness Combat while Ms. Lavee (another of Terra's OCs), PI88Y (an OC by a now-former friend), and Libby & Nancy (two OCs by DeviantArt user CraftyTomato), without even crediting the the original creators of those characters.
WeirdBoi was basically going for the throats of anyone who defended Terra or I, on top of stealing others' characters, so a now-former friend decided to post a drawing to DeviantArt, depicting XJ9 holding the severed head of Cursed Pibby. In fact, they even stated that the drawing was based on another drawing made by WeirdBoi, depicting Tall Pibby having torn XJ9 in half.
Having discovered the the artwork, WeirdBoi got mad and posted five new comments on my DeviantArt profile... as if I had enabled the art's creation. But it was almost midnight for me, so when I saw them, I was too tired to even consider screenshotting them, and I just deleted them.
The next morning, the artist posted a Tweet about WeirdBoi, noting that he'll gladly be "sexist" by explaining two key things about him.
Cursed Pibby was drawn wearing a "knockoff Hooters uniform" - referencing the very art that set this whole thing off.
WeirdBoi's persona had actually gotten intimate with Tall Pibby (another hypersexualized version of the original child-coded character) in his canon and had a child with her.
I had known about Cursed Pibby before, since I'd seen the image myself (even though I still wish I hadn't), but I was unaware of the fact that WeirdBoi's character had actually fornicated with her in his fictional canon. Whatever discomfort I felt about WeirdBoi's drawing before was now dwarfed by the sheer disgust I felt. I Retweeted that post, warning that WeirdBoi should abandon the path that he's chosen, because he's entered someplace that not many return from.
But then I found something.
Interestingly, when he wasn't attacking me via DeviantArt comments, he was acting otherwise apologetic, almost dramatically so, to others who heard about the drama. But it was already too late since several people had already unfollowed and blocked WeirdBoi after learning about what he said and threatened to Terra and I. WeirdBoi's reputation was crumbling before his eyes, and yet he was still blaming it on Terra and I.
It seemed that WeirdBoi finally recognized that his reputation was falling apart, because he left another essay of a comment.
Where do I even begin with this one? The comment started off seemingly genuine, but then he started acting like we "murdered a Pibby from another world"... as if drawing fictional characters getting killed was equal to actually taking a real human life? And even in this supposed "apology", he still accused me of apparently attacking his friends, which I never did, nor did I have any reason to.
I just screenshotted it, deleted it, and shared the screenshot with the folks on the Discord server. Shortly after, I found that he had posted a photo of the same comment on his Twitter. In response, that one artist posted their art of XJ9 killing Cursed Pibby on r/Greenlight_Pibby before they were quickly banned by WeirdBoi from the subreddit.
But then Terra pinged both me on Discord with a new development.
WeirdBoi had created yet another alternate DeviantArt account under the username Karzy-Guy85, and then another with the username KrazyGuy85. That's when the real issues began.
Using the Karzy-Guy85 account, WeirdBoi began insulting and even threatening actual death on me, Terra, and just about everyone else in the Discord server. He even genuinely argued that everyone had betrayed him, and even that we wanted him to date a child...? But that's not even the furthest he took it.
He claimed that Terra and everyone who defends her, including me, are pedophiles in an attempt to gaslight everyone who came against him for being what he seemed to be. In order to inform everyone about him, Terra created a Journal on her DeviantArt, detailing everything he had done up to that point.
However, we later discovered that after making those comments, both of his alts had been deactivated as if he practically rage-quit. I was asleep during that whole thing, but I found out about it the morning of January 16, 2023. I then had the thought to return to r/Greenlight_Pibby just to see if he had posted anything there about me.
We saw what his game was. He got rid of the alts in order to make it seem like Terra had created it and was trying to frame him. But, I noticed that he credited Reddit user u/Western-Quit-1386, who we'll call Western (though WeirdBoi forgot the numbers) for supposedly providing evidence of this claim. I saw someone who was potentially misled and/or manipulated by WeirdBoi and just needed the right information.
Turns out, Western didn't even need to be convinced. He already suspected that WeirdBoi was lying about the accounts, and he even offered to post the evidence we had in WeirdBoi's own subreddit! So, Western proceeded to create the callout post.
He linked Terra's DeviantArt Journal and the Google Drive folder I had created with all of the screenshots to prove that he really had said all of those things. But no matter what we said or presented, WeirdBoi stood by the belief that he had done nothing wrong, that Terra and I were attacking him for no reason, and that Terra had created the alternate DeviantArt accounts to frame him.
Eventually, WeirdBoi removed the post altogether, though the link to it still works and allows anyone to still view the comments. But my friends wouldn't give up that easily.
Under an alternate account, my friend XWitheriteSwordX, who we'll call Witherite, infiltrated the r/Greenlight_Pibby live lounge and began confronting the madman. After he provided the link to the lounge, it didn't take long for the others to start coming in. I myself joined fairly quickly just to watch what was going on. WeirdBoi was fighting a battle in which he was outnumbered a dozen to one, and yet he still continued to claim that Terra and I were the villains. After seeing him just repeat the word "WRONG" to everything he didn't agree with for several minutes, I decided to rattle his cage a bit, see if I could get him to slip up. And the perfect opportunity came when he said that I had abandoned Reddit.
"Who said I ever left?" I said in the chat. That got his attention very quickly. He began accusing me of ignoring his apology and attacking him with Terra, so I just said I wanted to keep working on my song and went quiet again. I continued to watch and observe, until I saw the best thing. A Discord user, who wanted to remain anonymous, came in with a genius idea.
See, when someone creates an account on DeviantArt, it silently links your IP address to those accounts. So, with the Inspect Element and a bit of computer code, the user managed to pull the IPs from all three of WeirdBoi's accounts - k4356719, Karzy-Guy85, and KrazyGuy85 - even though they had been deactivated. Turns out, all three shared the exact same IP address.
There was no denying it now. We had irrefutable proof that WeirdBoi had created all three accounts and tried to pin the blame for the alts on Terra. He went silent, and I saw fit to start chiming in again. Even after everything, he still blamed me for being immature and acted like I was the villain.
I just reminded him that he's the one who started this, he's the one who threatened me, and he's the one who wished actual death upon me, Terra, and everyone on the Discord... all because I said I didn't like one post of his. Eventually though, he finally caved and admitted that what he did was wrong, and he said he was sorry. Even though I knew deep down he really wasn't, I wrote one final series of messages to him.
That was finally the end of it. Two months of fighting a sociopathic pedophile online had finally come to an end. He started it by harassing me over an inappropriate drawing he made, and now it had ended with me, his sole target, standing victorious with the friends who had helped me fight him.
But on April 28, 2023, WeirdBoi returned once again like William Afton from FNaF. This time, he was under the DeviantArt username "tookrazyabsent". The existence of a K in the word crazy was a clear indicator that it was him. He posted three comments to my account in order to aggravate me.
I decided to check and see if he did the same thing as last time. And lo and behold, he had created the account that very day, just to harrass me. But while I was going to block him as I usually did, I saw a post he made. And truth be told, it made my blood come to a full boil.
That was the last straw. I can handle him wanting to kill me in a some way - that just proves that he is a deeply disturbed individual. But what made me angry was the fact that he threatened to kill people close to me, one of which he threatened to rape before ending her life.
Sometime later, WeirdBoi had actually hijacked the Discord account of another of my friends for two reasons: to infiltrate my Discord Server, the Blackout Network, and try to ruin my friend's reputation. Luckily, my friend had contacted me on Twitter DMs and I kicked the hijacked account before any damage could be done.
Because of this, I wasn't going to take any chances. I disabled all invites to the Network and placed it on lockdown to prevent WeirdBoi from entering the server again.
Unfortunately for me, this all happened on the night before my shift, but one of my friends volunteered to watch the Network overnight to make sure WeirdBoi didn't either hack his way in or hijack someone else's account. But the next day, nothing happened.
I also learned from my dad that morning that I could actually take what WeirdBoi threatened to do to the FBI and potentially get him arrested for a cybercrime. But I couldn't do that until later, so I was going to bide my time and keep an eye out. But I had to get it off my chest, so I created a post that was intended to be the very last thing I'll have said about WeirdBoi.
I posted it everywhere I could: YouTube, DeviantArt, and Twitter. And it didn't take long for WeirdBoi to answer.
He'd already deleted his tookrazyabsent account (likely because he saw that I blocked him), and this time he created a new account with the username "iwillremainabsent".
But I was done this time. I'd dealt with this guy for too long already, and I wanted to end this. I had enough. I was pissed.
I was not holding back anymore. I decided that I wasn't going to wait for later that week to go to the FBI. I was going to file the report online that night. But I still wanted to give him a chance to back away of his own accord, so I started counting down the time until I was off work and able to file that report. And it was quite effective at spooking him.
When WeirdBoi finally realized that I was going to go to the FBI, his tone changed very quickly - he went from antagonizing me to practically begging me to stop. I just told him that he is not to ever come close to the Pibby fandom or the Blackout Network. And with that, he retreated.
I filed the report that day, sending the screenshot of WeirdBoi's threats and evidence of his unauthorized access of my friend's Discord account. Once I hit the button to submit it, I was finally done. Six entire months of fighting a sociopath creep online had finally come to an end. He started it by harassing me because I didn't like an inappropriate drawing he made, and now it had ended with me, his sole target, standing victorious with the friends who had helped me fight him.
What happened to WeirdBoi after this? Well, in short, we still deal with him from time to time.
See, what he did left a massive impression on the Pibby fandom, to the point where he's long since abandoned both his WeirdBoi and KrazyGuy usernames in favor of a different one, being "TheLostSoul64". He has returned to Twitter and YouTube, but for a while he didn't try anything. Until he did.
On October 19, 2024, Terra DM'd me on Discord to warn me that WeirdBoi was trying something. Apparently, he had decided to try and regain the Pibby fandom's favor by making art of their OCs. On the surface, it didn't sound like a bad plan. The problem was that he was trying to act like nothing happened, and a lot of people fell for it. But to make matters worse... one of the OCs he drew as a gift belonged to someone who, unfortunately, passed away from cancer roughly a year prior. So Terra and I decided it was best to make a Tweet to warn everyone about WeirdBoi.
After that Tweet, people started messaging Terra. As it turns out, WeirdBoi was drawing art similar to what he called "Pibby: Singularity fanart", showing one of his villain OCs beating up and/or killing these other peoples' OCs while calling it "gift art". And on top of that, we also discovered that WeirdBoi was also trying to draw Terra and iDuckFilms' Pibby OCs solely for clout, despite the fact that he had sent Terra death threats only two years before.
I was honestly a little disappointed... I still am. I was admittedly optimistic that WeirdBoi would possibly change, but finding all that out proved that he didn't. After all of that, plus smaller incidents of him trying to get back into the fandom (unsuccessfully), I really feel like he might be stuck in that state of mind. If he is capable of changing, and he does in the future, I'll happily acknowledge that. But even to this day, he's still doing the same routine - drawing his generic Pibby villain OCs hunting other peoples' Pibby OCs, including iDuck's and Terra's.
